Getting the APK

Store policies keep real-money casino apps out of Google Play in many countries. For that reason, the app is distributed as an APK directly from the official site. An APK is simply the installation file format Android uses for every app.

Take the file only from the official domain. Files from unofficial sources can contain malware or steal login details. Support can confirm the right download address. The genuine bet365 address is covered in a separate guide.

It takes a minute, with a download that is light enough for mobile data. A small amount of free storage is all you need.

Installation guide

Android phones of every brand follow the same installation pattern. Settings names vary slightly by manufacturer, though the steps do not change. Go through the list in order and the app will be ready in no time.

• Visit the casino on your phone and press the app download button
• Confirm the permission to install unknown apps
• Find the file in your downloads and tap it
• Press install and let Android finish
• Sign in with your usual login details

You will see a standard warning before installation. The same notice appears for any downloaded app. After installation, you can switch the permission off again in the settings.

Games, banking and more

Games, banking and chat are all there. Over 7000 games from 24 providers are accessible. Bettors find the complete sportsbook in the app. The account is the same, so your balance and history follow you. Games you marked on desktop are waiting in the app. How the app side compares with the rest of the casino is covered in our bet365 casino review.

Notifications keep you informed about promotions. If you prefer fewer messages, turn them off in the app or phone settings.

The app cashier in Zambia offers the same local methods as the site. Some methods ask you to confirm in another app. The camera makes uploading your ID quick and easy. Every method and its minimum are listed in our deposit guide.

Keeping the app working

The app notifies you when an update is available. Keep the app current to avoid errors and security gaps. A fresh download from the site fixes most update problems.

Install errors and crashes

Failed installs are usually caused by a missing permission or a broken download. Delete the file, download it again and repeat the steps. A cache reset often fixes freezes and blank screens. Outdated systems might not be supported, in which case use the browser version.

The team assists with app problems 24/7, through live chat, email and phone.

Which one to choose

There is no difference in content between the app and the browser version. The mobile site suits those who do not want to install anything. Regular players save time with the app. The mobile site has a guide of its own.

The welcome offer of 100% up to ZMW 11,000 + 50 free spins is the same in the app. The 35x rollover progress and your limits are in the app as well. Nothing stops you from using the app at home and the site elsewhere. Many players simply install the app on their main phone and use the browser on other devices. Whatever combination you choose, your settings and limits follow you everywhere.

Safe and responsible app use

Never share your login details or one-time codes with anyone. Enable two-factor authentication in your account if it is offered. Protect the phone with a screen lock, since the app keeps you logged in.

Breaks and self-exclusion are available from the app. Set deposit limits and session reminders in the app settings. Disable push offers if they become a temptation. Keep it fun, and stop when it is not. Uninstalling for a while is a simple way to step back, with free help available from specialised services.
